English Idioms

1. "as easy as pie": something is very easy or something is easier than it looks.
2. "to be all ears" :example: I`m all ears: i`m listening very carefully.
3. "to be chicken or to be a chicken": be afraid ( for example, don`t be a chicken)
4.(American) "Smell a rat" : sth is wrong.
5.(American) "Go to the dogs": Become run down.
6.(American) "Take the bull by the horns":take a decisive action in a difficult
situation.
7.(American) "Horse of different color" : quiet a different matter.
8.(American) "Let the cat out of the bag" : inform before him.
9.(American) "For the birds" : uninteresting and meaningless.
10.(American)"Straight from the horse`s mouth" : from a riliable source.
